Making room for what’s alive

through contemplation, creativity, and community.

There is something sacred about what is alive within us.

But there are seasons when grief, change, or burnout disconnect us from it.

When our lives feel more exhausting than nourishing.

When something in us feels muted or blocked.

When we’ve lost touch with what brings us joy or meaning.

What if the path forward isn't about fixing what's broken, but reconnecting with what's alive?

In a world that rushes to certainty and answers, I believe we need more spaces where we can slow down, listen deeply, tell the truth, and be witnessed. Spaces where we don't rush to fixing or improving ourselves, but spaces where we can discover what is true and what may be asking to emerge.

Just like a plant doesn’t need to be “fixed” into becoming alive but needs the conditions to grow, adapt, rest, and regenerate— maybe our work, too, is less about fixing ourselves and more about tending the conditions that help us flourish.

I’m a facilitator of spaces where people can reconnect with their aliveness—through spiritual, creative, and communal practices. I’m a spiritual director and creative interested in what is made possible when we give ourselves permission to slow down and pay attention.

My work sits at the intersection of creativity, contemplation, healing, and liberation. I’m drawn to the questions that don't have easy answers—and to the spaces where people can be curious, unfinished, and deeply honest.

Whether I'm sitting across from one person or gathering a group around a table, I'm less interested in telling people what they should think or do than in creating the conditions for something meaningful to emerge.

I believe there is often more life available to us than we can see when we're moving too quickly. And sometimes, we simply need someone to help us make room for it.

Hi, I’m Ruth.

Let’s Make Room Together

Different seasons call for different kinds of space. Here are some of the ways we can make room for aliveness together.

Space to listen.
One-on-one companionship for seasons of change, grief, discernment, spiritual questioning, and reimagining.

Spiritual Direction

Space to create.
Art-making as a way to slow down, reflect, express what words can't always hold, and discover something new.

For individuals, groups, and organizations.

Creative Workshops & Retreats

Space to connect.
Dedicated circles of people sharing meaningful connection around a shared identity, experience, or question.
